About us
My name is Cristiano Pellegrini, and I have worked as a pro guide since 1999, and I’ve garnered 26 years of experience.
After 15 years of Catholic school in Rome, I graduated first in political sciences at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” with Laude, then I attended the course of Art Hstory at the Lateran Pontifical University of Rome, Vatican City, and successfully, after having studied Theology and Art History, I have been selected to become an official tourist guide of the Vatican City State.
The Team
To accompany you on your journey there will be my brother Federico (The Pellegrini Bros: he has been a pro tour guide in Rome and Florence & Tuscany since ever), my sister-in-law Fedora, a pro guide of Rome, and my son Gabriele, a pro Tour Manager.
Our team will lead the way of your vintage experience with our beloved Fiat 500 🚗 .We, tour guides, will take care personally as we
did not start in providing our Vintage Tours with our Fiat 500 right away: you need to have experience and qualifications!
We, the Pellegrini Family, deal on a regular basis with several US travel agents who are members of the famous Virtuoso Agency (most famous upscale clientele & services). Besides being official Rome guides, other than the Vatican City State, we are also members of FEG (European Federation of Guides), SNGT (National Associations of Italian Tourist Guides), and WFTGA (World Federation of Tourist Guides Associations). Our company, Rome Travels s.r.l., has operated in Italy since 2008, focusing on private tours, corporate travel, Group Tours, special events.
We cover every single historical city of our beautiful country, not to mention Rome, Tuscany (for Florence, Siena, and all the Tuscany/Chianti tours), Naples (Amalfi Coast, Pompeii, Herculaneum, Capri, and Ischia), Sicily (Taormina), and, of course, Venice.
And, above all, all sorts of Catholic tours, pilgrimages to the shrines of Italy, and memorable experiences throughout some of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Italy.
